FROM NEW ZEALAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The corner stone of the new Canadian House of Parliament at Ottawa is to be laid by the Prince of Wales on September 1. The New Zealand Governnwnt has received a message stating that Canada desired to place in ths corner ntono a peace year messagt of goodwill from each of the Dominions represented nt the peace conference. In response to this request the following cable message has been sent 'by the Governor-General to the Governor-General of Canada; "In connection with the laying of the corner stone of the new Parliament buildings on September 1 by flls floral Highness the Prince of Wales, I dssiw to associate myself with the Govsrnnsnt and people of New Zealand in molt heartily congratulating the senior Dominion of Canada on the splendid part played by its citizens and soldiers daring the great war which has now happily come to an end, nnd in expressing OMk conviction that if at any time in tbf| future it becomes necessary for the Jtto« pirc, in defence of its honor, to draw the sword.
