TIRATU SOLDIERS' SETTLEMENT.
RESULTS OF BALLOT. ' By Telegrapli.—Press Association. Dannevirke, ■ Yesterday. The ballot for the Tiratu sections took place to-day in the presence of 300 odd applicants and many spectators. The Commissioner, Mr. Marsh, in a short address, said the board had been governed by three principles. It had tried to suit the man, and suit the district. There were 34 sections in the Tiratu and one in the Tahoraiti Survey District.
