SEVERELY HECKLED AS TO HIS WAR SERVICE.

Mr. Henderson rejected Mr. F. M. B. Fisher's challenge to a public debate on the Russian statements. Mr. Henderson says: "I won't waste time over a man who calls me 'a damned liar of a Bolshevik' and then asks me to disprove my statements."
Mr. Fisher is being severely heckled at meetings. He was asked what he did in the great war. He replied: "I gave up my Ministerial position in New Zealand and came to England." Interrupter: "But not on thirteen pence a day!" Mr. Fisher said that owing to the surplus of officers lie could not secure a commission. Lord Kitchener advised him to serve his country in an administrative capacity. Ho had been working in the Propaganda Department.—Aua.-N.Z Cable Assn.

M. Kerensky, who was Premier during Mr. Henderson's visit to Russia, ridicules the suggestion that the latter was a pacifist or a Bolshevik.
