mi , . London, Aug. 18. The Minimum Wage Bill, to which Mr. Lloyd George referred, creates a commission to inquire into the cost of Jiviiw and to lis minimum wages and maximum Hours of employment. The Bill provide a maximum of 48 working hours weekly, except in such cases as the Industrial Council recommends otherwise or the employers and workers agree upon mutually. Payment for overtime must be 25 per cent, higher than the normal rat*. The Bill does uot appl to doOMtiea, seamen, or land workers.
