At Westflcld fct stock market on Wednesday beef was penned In scarcely average numbers, with competition not so keen, and with prices slightly easier Choice ox sold to £3 4s per 1001b.; prlmo ox sold at from £ 2 18s to 2s per 1001b ; rough and Inferior ox, £2 10s to £2 16s per 1001b.; cow and heifer beer sold at from £2 12s to £2 17s per 1001b. No extra, heavy cattle were yarded. Steers sold at from £l6 to £24 7s fid: cows and heifers sold at from £0 10s to £l6 ss. Calves were ponend again in large numbers. Runners were easier; other fat calves at late values.
