EXPECTED IN WELLINGTON TO-DAY

Wellington, Yesterday. The *ew Zealand will arrive at 8 a m to-morrow, and will berth after an inspection by the port health officer. A civic reception will follow. Lord Jellicoe:s visit to Government House will probably be at noon.

Although the Mayor still refuses to declare a public half-holiday, a large number of business firms announce the intention to close their premises, and Cabinet decided to-day that all Government offices in Wellington shall he closed to-morrow. There is a prospect of fine weather.
