The strike position is unchanged. Mr. Millen's reply is reported to be unsatisfactory. The Victorian aeamen believe the end to be in sight. . EFFORT TO SECURE OUTSIDE HELP. Received August 10, 1.45 a.m. Sydney, August IS. The seamen's executive are endeavoring to secure the co-operation of overseas unions to prevent vessels from strike breaking. A meeting has been called for Tuesday night to discuss taking action. Vhe move is the outcome of six of the Prineessin's firemen leaving the vessel and preventing her sailing.
