In the House of Commons Mr. Chamberlain announced that permission had been given the Finnish Government to raise a loan in Britain, on the condition that the proceeds were expended on the purchase of goods in Britain. . AMMUNITION DEPOT EXPLODES. Received Aug. 10, 2.55 p.m. Brussels, Aug. W. A Cologne message states that a British ammunition depot exploded at Kill. 1 The bodies of fourteen workmen were recovered from the rujns. A large number were injured.—Aus. N.Z.
