EVERYBODY'S. ALICE BRADY IN "HER GREAT CHANCE." In "Her Great Chance," a Select featture starring Alice Brady and David Powell, these two popular and talented stars appear in a novel and wellexecuted story that is an artistic anil convincing achievement. The magnetism of Alice Brady's charm is very apparent in this picture) as in the character of the simple shop girl she has no opportunity to dress lavishly. In the plainest of gowns she retains the admiration and interest just as surely as in her more luxurious productions. Her rolu calls for versatility and delicate handling, and she never for a moment lets the interest flag. David Powell gives worthy support as the millionaire's spendthrift son, and his characterisation of the part that repels as well as attracts leaves nothing to be desired. The production is admirably presented and the photography is much above the average. "Her Great Chance" shows tonight and to-morrow night at Everybody's.
THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF DOROTHY GISH. Charming Dorothy Gish, in her great success, "Battling Jane," appears finally to-night at the People's. Miss Gisli makes a splendid hit in this her first Paramount picture, her work being easily equal to that in "Hearts of the World" and other biff Griffith productions. "The Eagle's Eye," Gazette, and Pictograph, are also on the bill. Tomorrow's new bill presents Wallace Reid and a new star, Ora Carew, in "Too Many Millions," a Sterling comedy drama.
