RETURNING HOME.

DATES OF ABRIVAL ALTERED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, August 16. The total of the New Zealand troops' now on the water returning'to the Dominion is 9057, also 818 wives and 193 children. Wireless messages have been received notifying the following alterations in the dates of arrival of the transports named:—

Giesson, R.D. 269, originally due sit Wellington August 23, now due August 20. The alteration is due to the vessel calling at Hobart. Mamari, R.D. 274, now due at Auckland C p.m. on' August 19, instead of August 18. Somerset, R.D. 273, now due at Wellington at mid-day on August 20, instead of August 'l9. Imperial details ex Bremer and ex Ormonde were to leave Newcastle yesterday by the Essex for Wellington.
