THE PRINCE OF WALES.

VISIT TO CANADA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received August IC, 11.30 p,m. Ottawa, August 15. The Prince of Wales landed at St. John, New Brunswick. The crowded streets were gaily decorated. Responding to an address of welcome, the Prince alluded to St. John as the city of loyalists. He referred to the war service with • the Canadians. Comradeship on the field was the surest road to an understanding between the portions of the British Empire, the principles and ideals of which had been sharply outlined in the burning light of a supreme emergency and had stood the test.—Aus-N.Z. Cable Assn.
