THE CAPORETTO DISASTER. CADORNA'S SELF-SUFFICIENCY BLAMED. By Telegraph.—Press Aim.— Uopytlght. Received August 17, 5.5 p.m. Rome, August 14. The Italian Royal Commission which inquired into the Caporetto disaster, says it was ,due, above all, to General Cadorna's infallible absolutism, and selfsufficiency. He was keenly jealous of possible rivals and intolerant of other people's views, thus stifling initiative ?.u& truthful speaking. Cadonm became fatally isolated, his vision being blurred.' He treated his colleagues unjustly, deposed 217 generals, ond condemned 50,000 of the. finest Alpine Bersaglieri to jieed-le-'s butchery.
