BRITISH CABINET.
BUSINESSLIKE METHODS, By Telegraph —Press Assn.—Copyright. Eeceived August 14, 11.40 p.m. London, August W. It is understood the conversion of Cabinet from a war to a peace basis has involved considerable modifications in the methods of conducting business. Full meetings of Ministers will be rare. The 1 war Cabinet's practice of summoning ['only Ministers whose departments are 1 directly interested in the question under consideration will be continued by the Inner Cabinet, thereby greatly expediting the business and avoiding merely academic discussions. Contrary to expectations, there will be no reconstruction before the recess, apart from filling the vacant posts of Agriculture and Pay-master-General.—Aus.-N.Z- Cable Assn.
