FIRE AT QOVERJNMENT FARM. . By Telegraph—Press Association. Hamilton, Saturday. Seven stacks of wheat, straw, clover, etc., were destroyed by fire at the Government farm, Rimkura, last night. They were valued at £4OO. Incendiarism is suspected, as all burst into flame simultaneously. ALEGED THEFT OF LEATHER, j Wellington, Saturday. Tour men named Archibald Miller, William Emery, James Toomer, anil Angel Saul, a negro, appeared in the Magistrate's Court in answer to charges connected with the dissappenrancfi of a considerable quantity of leather from the prppnises of Hannah and Co. One of the accused is an employee of Hannah and.Co. The others: are boot repairers carrying "on business in the city. All four were remanded until Wednesday, bail being allowed.
