Wellington, Auguat B.—Baden Pow*U at 11.30 a m., for Now Plymouth. Wellington, August B.—Port Nicholson, at 4.30 p.m., for Melbourne. There were no shipping movements at the breakwater yesterday. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell was compelled a second tlmo to return to Wellington, after attempting to make the trip to New Plymouth, owing to the state of the weather. She sailed again for the Taranakl port at 11.30 a.m. yesterday, and Is expected here to-day. THE KITTAWA. The Klttawa was scheduled to leave Wellington last night on her journey northward to New Plymouth, where she Is expected to arrive about Thursday next. THE CORINNA. The Corlnna Is to leave Wellington at noon to-day, for New Plymouth. She will reach here to-morrow, and on Monday will commence loading a consignment of 9000 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Orarl. She will then proceed to Lyttelton and load for New Plymouth, returning here direct. THE RAKANOA. Tils Rakanoa is to leave Wellington tonight and she should reach New Plymouth to-morrow. She Is bringing a cargo of 700 tons of coal. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa Is due from Onehunga this morning, and will sail again on the return journey on arrival of the Wellington mall car to-night She Is due here again on Tuesday next. THE NGATORO. The Ngatoro has been delayed ,at Wellington owing to rain and will nqt sail for New Plymouth until noon to-day. She brings 200 tons of cement and 400 tons of general cargo. THE TUKUA'S EXPERIENCE. The small auxiliary scow Tukua, which left H'altara for Nmv Plymouth, at 3.30 on Wednesday afternoon, was unable to heat up to the harbour against the south-east gale which was blowing, and tho captain (Mr. Jackson) and three companions spent the night under meat trying circumstances. The engine was not available for use as It was awaiting certain repairs The lights of the little vessel could not be' seen from the wharf until 9.15 Pm , and then they disappeared. Some anxiety was felt regarding the safety of the Tukua, and the following morning the harbourmaster (Captain Waller), and the master of the dredge Parltutu (Captain McMahon), agreed to go In search of the Tukua with the dredge, as tho scow was not In sight. Tills was done shortly beforo 8 o'clock. The Tukua was picked up ten miles to leeward of the harbor. She had spent the night endeavouring to heat up, but gradually losing ground. One of her sails had been carried away. Those on board wero very pleased to be taken In tow, having had an unenviable experience during the hours of darkness The harbour was reached at twenty minutes past eleven. THE RAKANOA The Rakanoa Is not now expected to leave Wellington for New Plymouth until Saturday. Athenlc, loft. London, July 14, for Wellington.
