ENTERTAINMENTS.

THE EMPIRE GREAT SUCCESS OF MARY PICKFORD AS "STELLA MARIS" The noted Artcraft, super-feature, "Stella Maris," opened yesterday to capacity business at The Empire, *Mnry Pickford is the star of this 1 beautiful story of humor and pathos and it is the triumph of her long record of successes. Tho atory is a very gripping one, and holds the attention from beginning to end. She presents two widely differing characters —one a beautiful- gentle girl, that every admirer of Mary Pickford Mill love —the other an ugly deformed impish waif, with no trace of Mary's grace, or Mary's curls, or Mary's mannerisms. And it is her interpretation of this second role that is tho best thing that Mary Pickford has done. There is every indication that this delightful picture will again pack the theatre tonight and to-morrow night when it will be ecreened for the last time. There will be another matinee performance to-morrow afternoon at H p.m. Patrons who dosire to make certain of a seat should reserve at Collier's without delay. There is no extra charge for booking. THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF OL«A PETROV A. In her greatest triumph, "The Life Mask," produced by her own company, the peerless artiste, Madame Petrova, imbues a gripping story with dramatic fire such as is; rarely radiated, "The Life Mask" is a tense mystery drama the suspence of which never lets up till tho last, few feet n[ film. The great artiste' is supported by a strong cast. To-morrow Dorothy Dalton appears in Inee's latest production, "fireen Eyes."
