Present Indications are for high but decreasing southerly winds, changing to increasing westerlies and northerlies shortly in and southward of Cook Strait; the weather being cold and changeable generally, with further showers along the East Coast, but a temporary improvement is likely soon to he followed by unsettled weather in the western districts. The barometer Is rising m the north, but will be falling som In the south.
