HUNTING.
The North TaranaW Hunt will hold their point to point steeplechases to-day. The COUT«e la at Mr. Lea. Blrdllng's, Waltara, where no better ground could be obtained, the situation lending Itself to the occasion, the formation providing naturnl vantage Points from which spectators can view the races from' start to finish. The members of the hunt-have spared no pains to prepare a flrst-claas course of about two miles with numerous Jumps, which will try the horses right out. The prizes are trophies, the president (Colonel C. H. Weston) donating the first prtes for first-class hunters. The hunt eitonds a cordial Invitation to all Interested, and hopes to see a good gathering. Tho first event will start about 2SO p.m., which should enable visitors to. arrive In time to see both etenja.
