A Caproni aeroplane, flying from Venice to Milan, crashed 4000 feet, and fourteen people were killed.—Reuter. Received Aug, 0, 2.50 p.m. London, Aug. 4. The Times' Milan correspondent states that the aeroplane disaster has robbed Italian journalism of some of its greatest editors. All the passengers were journalists. After a record flight of 170 miles in 107 minutes, the machine suddenly nosedived. Realising the hopelessness of the position the passengers jumped one after another. Their bodies were not recognisable.—Times Service.
