The Times' Milan correspondent states that the aeroplane disaster has robbed Italian journalism of some of its greatest editors. All the passengers were journalists. After a record flight of 170 miles in 107 minutes, the machine suddenly nosedived. Realising the hopelessness of the position the passengers jumped one after another. Their bodies were not recognisable.—Times Service.
