BLENHEIM OIL BORE.
HOPEFUL PROSPECTS.
The result of recent operations at the Blenheim Oil Bore has made the prospects of meeting a good flow of oil more hopeful than ever. The well has now reached a depth of 5,400 feet, and satisfactory drilling is being continue ously carried out. The constant presence of gas at the bore is indicative of the near approach of the well to the main oil supply, as is also the quality of substance through which the drill is at present passing.
