PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Rating Act, 1908," and the amendments thereto, and "The Counties Act, 1908," and the amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of the County of Egmont at the ordinary monthly meeting to be held at the Council Chambers, Opunake, on TUESDAY, the 12th day of August, 1919, to make and.levy the following general rates on the capital value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of the County, for the period of twelve months, from the first day of April 1919, to the thirty-first day of March, 1920, namely; OEO RIDING: Two pence (2d) in the £. OPUA RIDING: Two pence and fivesixteenths (2 5-lBd) in the £. OPUNAKE RIDING: One penny and one-halfpenny (ljd) in the £. RAHOTU RIDING: Two pence and five-sixteenths (25-16 d) in the £.
