At a meeting of Major Hinc's friends and supporters on Wednesday night it was decided to ask him to addross a meeting of general interest to the electors of the district, and he lias agreed to do this. A meeting will be. hetit ,in the Town Hall, Stratford, on Wednesday, ; (ith August, at R p.m:, when Major Hine wil,l not only deal with the political aspect but also give some outline of his experiences in Egypt and elsewhere during his itinerancy from New Zealand which has. very largely broadened his views of matter* both political and general.
