An amending regulation under the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act provides that in the event of a returned soldier having made an application to the Land Board for a purchase which has not been approved by Ihc Department and applying a second time in respect of another purchase, the Commissioner of Crown Lands may reduce or remit entirely the valuation fee in respect of the second application.
