Present indications are for easterly gales northward of Kawhla and East Cape, and south-east winds, strong to gale, elsewhere; stormy weather may be expected generally, with heavy rain over the North Island, rivers flooded in the northorn and east coast districts, and rain and snow in many parts of the South Island. The barometer will fall, especially in the North.
