WEDDINGS.

BOX-CLEMENT. On Thursday, July 17, a quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. A Liversedge at the residence of the bride's sister Mrs R, Ballantlne, Normanby, when Miss Dorothy Bex, ot Matnniau, was married to Percy j Clement, youngest son of Mr. R, H Clement' of Normanby. The bride, who was given away by her brother, was attired in a dainty cream sergo costume and hat to match, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. Miss Hilda Clement, who attended her as bridesmaid, wore a pretty, hand-embroidered tunic dress of white silk and black picture hat, and carried a ehower bouquet. Mr. George Clement acted as beßt man. After tho ceremony the guests were entertained, and the usual toasts were honored Later the young couple left for Hawlte's Bay where the honeympon will be spent.—Star. ' I
