The Rarawa is due as usual this morning, and teturns to Onehunga on the arrival of the Wellington mall at 7.30 to-nlgnt. THE BADEN POWELL. Tho Baden Powell, which put back to New Plymouth on account of stress of weather, took In some more cargo, and sailed for Wellington yesterday morning. THE CORINNA. Tho Corlnna, which is bringing about 700 tons of general cargo from South Island ports, was due to leave Nelson for New Plymouth at 3 p.m. yesterday. She should be here In time to commence discharging at 8 o'clock thiß morning. She loads 12,000 crates of cheese for transhipment to the Armagh at Wellington, and then returns for a further 12,000 crates for the Shropshire. THE REGULUS. The New Plymouth agents for the Anchor Company have been advised that the Regulus Is coming to New Plymouth with a load of coal for the railways, but no deflnlto information as to the time of arrival has yet been received. REPAIRS TO THE KOWHAI. An examination of the Kowhal, which recently went, ashore on Farewell Spit, was made at th« patent slip, Wellington, on Tuesday. Beyond a few started frames and missing rivets the hull has suffered very little damage (says the Dominion). Repairs, however, will occupy some weeks.
UNION COMPANY'S VESSELS. Dunedin, July 25. The Union Company's new freighter Wairuna arrived at San Francisco on July 16 from England. She Is now loading at San Francisco for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney. The Makura, which is due at Auckland on Sunday from Vancouver, is fixed to leave Auckland on Tuesday next direct for Sydney. The Niagara left Vancouver on July 17 for Honolulu, Suva and Auckland, and is due at Auckland on August 4. The Moana left Papeete on July 22 for Rarotonga and Wellington, and is due at Wellington on July 31. The Tc Anau has been re-commissioned after a lengthy stay at Port Chalmers, whero she was undergoing an extensive overhaul. The vessel is loading for Lyttelton and Wellington. VESSELS FROM OVERSEAS.
