The Rakanoa, from Westport, with coal, is also idle. The Fort Victor m was to sail to-morrow for Melbourne, but is delayed for a day or two, but should the men work to-morrow the will sail on Sunday.
BISHOP AVEBJLL'S VIEWS. ) Auckland, Last Night. Labor unrest was referred to by Bishop Averill in his address at the Anglican Synod to-day. He laid: "We stand between two alternatives, and certainly the present system cannot con-; tinue—viz., either raorallsation and Christianisation of industrialism, or tome form of Bolshevism which will destroy any possible hope of reconstruction on a true and firm basis. I would again urge upon the church the duty of studying thisMndustrial problem without pre. judice, and with a real delta* to make some contribution to the pressing and difficult problem which threatens to rob the world of the blessings of peace."
