ATTACKS REPULSED. GENERAL RISING PROBABLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. . Received JUly 23, 8.30 p.m. Allahabad, July 21. Our posts in the IChyber region, between Ali Mesjid and Fort Maude were attacked by eu-Sepoys and disbanded militiamen. The attacks were repulsed with heavy losses. There is further evidence of a general tribal rising along the whole length of the frontier. Several attacks liave been repulsed. The Afghan peace delegates are due at Dakka on the 22nd.
