The pageant of the Allies was well staged, reflecting credit on Mrs. and Miss Edwards, of Hawera, who were in charge. The nations were impersonated as follows, the dancers being given in parentheses: England, Misses M. Hewes and M. Jans (Misses K. Taylor a»d E. Tong); Ireland, Misses B. Sheehan and V.
