GERMAN ATTEMPTS FAIL, By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 22, 5.5 p.m. i London, July 20. Germany's attempts to buy food products in the United States largely failed, owing to Germany being able to offer in rdtwm, only manufactured goods or long deferred payment, while the sellers want gold.
