THE PRINZESSIN'S ARRIVAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Prinzessin arrived from Sydney. She is a clean ship, and will berth at 8 a.m. to-morrow. VESSELS HELD UP AT AUCKLAND. Auckland, Last Night.
A number of steamers were held up at Auckland during the holidays owing to the crews refusing to tako the vessels to sea. The vessels were the Katoa, Arahura, Koromiko, and Manaia at Auckland and the Pateena and Rarawa at Onehunga. The intentions of the crews of the ICatoa, Koromiko, and Arahura were known on Friday, and the vessels' departures postponed accordingly, 'l'he Manaia was to have sailed for Whangarei at 10 p.m. on Saturday, but shortly before sailing .time the crew refused to go to sea before 10 p.m. to-day. The Pateena arrived at Onehunga from Wellington at 1 pm. on Saturday, and was to have sailed for Wellington an hour after, but the crew refused, and the vessel was postponed until to-morrow. The Rarawa arrived at Onehunga from New Plymouth on Sunday morning and was to have sailed again at 3 p.m. to-day, but owing to the action of the crew .the trip has been abandoned, and she will sail at the same time on Wednesday.
