PEACE TREATY
'WITH AUSTRIA AND BULGARIA. COMPLETE TERMS PRESENTED TO AUSTRIA. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received July 21, 8.15 p.m. Paris, July 20. The complete Austrian Treaty was presented to Dr. Renner on Sunday. It contains several new clauses, together with modifications of the original draft. It is pointed out that the text embodied replies to various Austrian notes. A reply is demanded within ten days. The committee on Bulgarian affairs has completed its work, and the treaty will probably be presented this month. — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
The Austrian Treaty assigns to Austria the territories within Czecho-Slo-vakia and Hungary inhabited by a Ger-man-speaking population. It abolishes conscription and restricts the manufacture of war material ,to a single Statecontrolled factory.—Aus.-N.Z. CaW; Assn. REPARATION CONDITIONS.
NATION MADE TO DISGORGE. Received July 21, 9.40 p.m Paris, July 20. The additional clauses of the Treaty luainly concern reparation, the amount of damage, and the period for payment, similarly to the German treaty Austria surrenders her shipping on a ton for ton basis within two months, and also must be prepared within sixty days to supply lists of animals, machinery, etc., for replacement of similar goods destroyed by Austria, who surrenders th<i historical and artistic material taken from invaded territory. Three jurists shall determine what property has been taken illegally by the Hapsburg and other dynasties from Italy, Belgium, Poland and Czecho-slovakia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
