Japanese buyers have purchased n further 5500 tons of second grade wheat at 5b 7%* d f.o.b. Eecent contracts total 20,500 tons. The Minister of Customs states that the Imperial Government has not concluded the purchase of 500,000 tons of wheat over which an option was held at 5s Od f.o.b. No other oversea sales have been effected. INSULATED TONNAGE. Received July 17, 9.50 p.m. Melbourne, July 17.
