ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. "FIND THE WOMAN." Alice Joyce, the beautiful and talented Vitagraph star in "Find ,the Woman," has a vehicle which gives her full opportunity in one of, the most convincing and appealing roles she has had. The story is taken from material supplied by that master of short stories, 0. Henry, in "Cherchez la Femme," and has .the chjrm, the atmosphere and the skilful characterisation, found in all his work. The play is a charming romance of old New Orleans, and Alice Joyce looks unusually lovely in the old settings of the picturesque gardens, streets, cafes and houses of the southern city. The role of .-Madeline Renard, a French prima donna whose relations with a pious gentleman are misinterpreted by her lover, gives Alice Joyce the j distinction of portraying one of O. Henry's most lovable creations. How the web of suspicion and scandal is woven i-ound her, till she at length is forced to abandon her cherished ambition, is powerfully and with great fidelity told in the play. Another episode of "The House of Hate" shows on the same programme, the screening nights for which are to-night, and to-morrow at Everyj body's. ■ THE PEOPLE'S. LAST NIGHT OF, ENID BENNETT. The bright, golden-haired star, Enid Bennett, in her fine Paramount picture, "The Vamp," screens finally to-night at the People's. This is a Thos. H. Ince production of superb merit and showsMiss Bennett at her best. The story is an absorbing one and a strong cast appears in support. The programme includes the latest Mack Sennett comedy, Burton Holmes, and "The Railroad Raiders." To-morrow's 1 new bill will present Franklyn Farnum and Anna Nilsson in Metro's latest feature. "In Judgment Of."
