The House of Representatives failed to carry the Daylight Saving Repeal Bill against the presidential veto. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has reported three resolutions: (1) Calling for information regarding .the alleged secret treaty between Germany and Japan; (2) an American protest against the Shantung agreement; (3) why Costa Rica was not permitted to sign the Peace Treaty.—Aus.-NJZ.
