REPATRIATION.

W PLYMOUTH COMinTTJiJi, A meeting of the New Plymouth Repatriation Committee was" held last evening. Present: Messrs. C. H. Weston (chairman), W. J. Chaney, T, Furlong, ft W. Okey, E. Whittle, T. C. S, Allen). . \ ] The Repatriation Department wrote! ptating that returned soldiers going into partnership in the purchase of a business or land were each entitled to the first £SO of a loan, free of interest. The Repatriation Department notified the completion of two loans for stock, the purchase of a business, and two loans for furniture. An application for a loan of £3OO for Stock, after being approved, had been Withdrawn by the applicant, who had made other arrangements for the accommodation. The Secretary notified that, he had semired employment for a returned man. five were now on the unemployment register, two of whom were likely to get positions soon. There had been nine applicants for homes, and three for land. These had ticulars and referred to the Commisbeen furnished with the necessary parpioner of Crown Lands.
