Count Bernsjorff, writing in the Demokratißche Deutscheland, advocates a league for the revision of 'the .treaty. Germany's foreign policy must be constantly directed to building up a league, hoping Vhat the new world order will establish a world economy extending beyond frontiers and binding the peoples together. German policy would bo directed to the side of America, where the idea of a peaceful league is, a living reality. America alone is able, to provide the necessary financial means to Invigorate such a political economy.
The Germans must convince America that the old militaristic Germany is buried and that the new Germany does not intend to play the role of ' apostle of a Socialistic world revolution. Without America's help it will be almost impossible to restore the German economy. SOCIALISTIC REVOLUTION QUITE A FAILURE. Received July 15, 1.40 a.m. London, July 14. The Daily Chronicle's Weimar cor* respondent states that -the' orthodox Socialists' revolution in Germany has failed. The scheme for socialisation have been abandoned. The- failure of socialism is serious, as Germany expected so much. It is almost as if the November revolution had never been. Germany, says the correspondent, is incapable of revolution.—Aus.-N.Z.
