Tho Rarawa arrived from Onehunga at 5.30 on Saturday morning, with a full complement of passengers, and called again for the north at 8.20 p.m. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell arrived on Friday night from Wellington, via Plcton, but did not commence to discharge on account of there being no labor available. Sho Is expected to get away for Wellington to-night. THE CORINNA. The Corinna completed the discharge of her cargo on Saturday afternoon, and sailed at 4.15 for Wellington. THE KARU. The Karu (a expected to leave Wellington for New Plymouth with a general cargo to-day or to-morrow. THE TUKUA. The auxiliary ketch Tukua was placed on the slip at Waltara on Saturday for the purposes of Inspection. WELLINGTON-ONEHUNGA SERVICE. Wellington, July 12.. Definite arrangements have been made for tho establishment of a Wellington-Onehunga steamer service, per the Pateena, and it starts on Monday from Wellington. This will enable the Postal Department to deal expeditiously with parcels, newspapers and other heavy mall matter, which at present Is greatly congested. (No Intimation has been given that New Plymouth will be Included in the itinerary of the Pateena, but a service for passengers and cargo between this port and Wellington Is desirable, if the Union Company could be induced to provide for it. The Pateena, which was replaced in the Weillngton-Nelson-Plcton run by the Mapourlka, has tills week been undergoing engine repairs ot Wellington.) TALUNE DIVERTED. Owing to the shortage of food supplies In the Islands it has been decided to dispatch the Talune for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa, from Wellington, to-day (Monday). The Union Company is endeavoring to arrange for another vessel to load for Auckland. BUSY TIAIE AT DUNEDIN. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, July 12. A record was established with respect to shipping In port to-day, when thirty vessels, including oversea liners, were berthed at Dunedin and Po-t Chalmers, the gross tonnage being 90,747 tons.
