Definite information has been received that the Bolshevists are about to evacuate Petrograd. London, July 8. The Paris correspondent of the Westminster Gazette says that the Russian Government at Moscow has permitted private trading in foodstuffs and other articles. The dream of communism has failed. Bread is now selling at 22 roubles instead of 60.' The Star reports that the Bolsheviks have occupied all the embassies and legations in Petrograd, seized the archives and handed over those in charge of the latter to an extraordinary commission as spies against the Soviet Gov- - eminent—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
