MEETING OF CREDITORS.

ESTATE OF W. W. JACKSON. A meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Walter Wm. Jackson, 'bus proprietor, New Plymouth, was held at the office of the Deputy Official Assignee (Mr J. S. S. Medley) yesterday afternoon. There were present Messrs ltussell (for Spedding and Co.), Nicoll, Bosworth (for E. Dockrill), W. Browne Priske, E. S. Wooldridge, H. R. Billing (for A. Smith), and L. A. Nolan's representative. Mr Geo. Grey represented the bankrupt, on whose behalf he addressed those present. Mr Billing said his clients were prepared to accept 15s. in £l. Mr. Nicoll concurred in this. Mr Grey produced a paper for the creditors to sign accepting 15s in the £, notwithstanding the Deputy Official Assignee declared a dividend of 20s in the £. All those present agreed to sign with the exception of Mr Priske. The meeting" passed a resolution asking the Deputy Official Assignee to facilitate the discharge of the bankrupt.
