She has a full cargo to discbarge, and will return south on Monday. THE MAKURA. Dunedln, July 4. Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the Vancuover labor strikes were settled on July 3. The Makura 1s now definitely fixed to leave Vancouver on July 8 for Auckland.

UNION COMPANY'S ARMAGH, . After having been in quarantine for 24 hours, the Armagh berthed at Wellington on Wednesday morning (says the Dominion). In accordance with the resolution passed recently, the Waterslders refused to commence to unload the ! 8000 tons of coal on the vessel until the seven clear days since her departure from an Infected port had elapsed. The Armagh Is a steel twin-screw, four-masted steamer of 12,2(19 tons, built in 1917 by Messrs. Swan, Hunter, and Wighnm Richardson, Ltd, at Newcastle, and her owners are the Union Company. She is 530.5 feet long, 6Sft. in breadth, and has a depth of 39 9ft. During the war she made Ave voyages from America to England and Prance with troops, and on her voyage out from England to Aujtralia brought a draught of 1520 returning soldiers. On completion of discharge at WelWapgnnul to commence honieward loading, then lington the Armagh proceeds to Waltara and returning to Wellington to complete.
