MOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council of tlu County of Taranaki held on the second day of June, 1919, it was resolved (by way of Special Order) that the;: said Council in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in "The Counties Act 1908" "The Counties Amendment Act 1915" and of an Order-in-Couneil made by His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand on the 15tn day of November 1915 under Section 5 of "The Counties Amendment Act 1915" and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 18th Novembei 1915 at page 3825 and of all and every other the powers and provisions in thot behalf contained or implied in ahy statute enabling it in that behalf, make a Bylaw to ba called "The Taranaki County Vehicles Licensing By-law 1919" the object and purport of which By-law are as follows; \ To provide for the licensing of ver hides using any ron-t within the i County of Taranaki and to prevent unlicensed vehicles using any of the said County roads, ' and to appoint the several sums to be paid to the County fund forth* licensing of-'vehicles.
