STRATFORD GUN CLUB. •pHE Stratford Gun Club shoot for the Provincial Clay Championship on their grounds, East Road, Stratford, on THURSDAY NEXT, 26th instant, commencing at 0.30 a.m. Besides the sweepstake to be divided among the prizetakers, a gold medal valued at five guineas has been donated by Mr. E. Jackson, of New Plymouth, for the champion. The match will be off 18 yards, 21 birds, post entry. Other clay events and sparrow matches will be arranged.
