The prisoners sentenced by the Chief Justice this morning included: George 'Hunter, for fraud, one year's hard labor and declared a habitual criminal; Duncan Macikay, obtaining money by false pretences, one year's reformative treatment,; Elizabeth Jane Rosena Conrad and Emily Ethel Conrad, theft of £6O 10s from a Chinaman, three years' reformative treatment, with the suggestion that they be given a chance to secure positions in the country; Charles [,'Cameran, indecent assault, four years' [reformative treatment.
