The Pukemiro Miners' Union has agreed to resume work provided the check inspectors have the right to see that the gas stoppings are properly built. It is expected that work will be resinned on Monday. MITiTIRRTON MINERS PROSECUTED. Westport, June 20Proceedings have been recommenced against the Millerton Miners' Union by the Labor Department for the recovery of £2OO. The action arises out of the recent strike, and it will be remembered that action was struck out recently by the magistrate, Mr. Stout, on a technical poin. The new action will be heard on Tuesday.
