FINE WAR RECORD.
OF VICTORIA COLLEGE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At the capping ceremony of Victoria allege to-night, General Richardson referred to the College's fine record of waT service. The college hud sent 637 students on service, and of these 108 had lost their liws. Soldiers from the college had gained one C.M.G., one D.C.M five D.S.O.'s, nineteen M.C.'s, three MjM.'s and one foreign decoration. The college had the honor of having on its staff a man who had located more German guns and supplied more information to the Intelligence Department than probably anv other man in Wellington. That was Professor Marsden, who had used his scientific knowledge in sound ranging on the western front.
