THE POHERUA. The Poherua arrived at 5 o'clock last evening from Greymouth, with 1200 tons of coal and 30,000 feet of timber. After discharging, which is expected to be completed by about Saturday, the vessel will return to Greymouth. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell was expected late last night or early this morning from Wellington. THE WHAKATANE. The local agents for the Whakatane nave been advised that the vessel may be expected here about Wednesday of next week. UNION COMPANY'S BOATS. Dunedln, June 18. It wa9 rumored that, the Wahine would return to New Zealand next month. The Union Company announces that this is incorrect, as the vessel is still refitting at Dumbarton and the date of her departure from Britain is not known.
The Makura is still held up at Vancouver owing to the strikes. The ship has not discharged her New Zealand cargo.
