By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Rain fell during Tuesday nleht fn many parts, and cloudy and unsettled weather has ruled, with strong and squally northerly and westerly winds. The atmospheric pressure has remained low In the south.
Present indications are for strong north-west to south-west winds, and cold, changeable and squally weather, with heavy showers generally. Barometer unsettled, but ■ rising everywhere shortly.
