AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING STRIKE.
MORE WORKS IDLE.' Received June 16, 10 p.m. Sivlney, June 10. The Mount Morgan mine and works have been closed, excepting the development and experimental work. Over 1500 employees are idle, besides 1000 others' in the district indirectly dependant on the mine. The stoppage also wili involve the closing of the copper refining works iit Port Kemblft, New South Wales, rendering idle additional large numbers SHIPOWNERS TIRED. Received June 10, 10 p.m. Sydney, June 16. Shipowners, tired of the wateh-and-wait policy, arc advertising for crews to man vessels, but it is difficult to get men.
