MEN AND WOMEN SHOT fN STREETS,, REPORT OF IRISH-AMERICANiS. FOR SUBMISSION TO PEACE CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received June 14, 5.5 p.m. Paris, June 9. The Irish-American delegates furnished President Wilson with' a report on the state of Ireland for submission to the Peace Conference. They also sent copies to the King and Mr. IJoyd George. A covering letter states that the delegates visited the four provinces of Ireland, except where prevented by tho army of occupation. The report declares that guerilla warfare, usually the prelude to a major conflict, is going on in Ireland daily between small detachments of the army of occupation and republican volunteers, in which there are killed and wounded on both sides.
The report adds: 'With a ferocity unparalleled, even in modern warfare, within the past few days men and women have been shot down in the streets of Dublin."—Aus. N.Z. Cable Assoc.
